1. Our Services

WebsitesEngine provides website design, hosting, domain registration assistance, maintenance, and related digital services on a subscription basis.

Services may include:

• Website design and development
• Web hosting
• Domain registration assistance
• Website maintenance
• Customer support
• Optional premium services and add-ons

The exact services included depend on the package selected during checkout.

2. Customer Account

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and keeping your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription

Most WebsitesEngine services are provided as recurring monthly subscriptions.

Your subscription begins once payment has been successfully processed.

Subscription fees are billed automatically through our payment provider unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.

4. Minimum Commitment

Certain subscription plans require a minimum commitment period.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, your selected plan includes a 24-month minimum commitment.

If you choose to cancel before completing the minimum commitment, any remaining contractual obligations may become immediately payable.

5. Domain Registration

If you request a new domain name through WebsitesEngine:

• Domain availability is checked in real time.
• Displayed prices may change before registration is completed.
• A domain is not considered reserved or registered until WebsitesEngine successfully registers it with the domain registrar.
• If the requested domain becomes unavailable before registration is completed, WebsitesEngine is not responsible for that loss of availability.

Domain renewal fees are billed separately unless otherwise included in your selected package.

6. Website Content

You retain ownership of the content you provide, including text, images, logos, and trademarks.

By submitting content to WebsitesEngine, you confirm that you have the legal right to use it.

You agree not to upload content that:

• Violates any law
• Infringes copyrights or trademarks
• Contains malware
• Promotes illegal activity
• Is abusive, hateful, or fraudulent

WebsitesEngine reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for prohibited content.

7. Included Maintenance

Where included in your package, maintenance covers routine website updates and minor modifications.

The number of included maintenance hours is determined by your subscription package. Most packages currently include 10 hours of maintenance per calendar year.

Requests exceeding the included allowance may be billed separately at our current hourly rate.

8. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

You authorize recurring charges for your subscription until cancelled according to these Terms.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your services.

9. Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation at any time.

Cancellation does not remove any remaining obligations under a minimum commitment period.

Upon cancellation:

• Hosting services may be discontinued.
• Websites may be taken offline.
• Domain registrations remain subject to registrar policies.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebsitesEngine shall not be liable for:

• Lost profits
• Lost business opportunities
• Lost data
• Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer during the previous twelve (12) months.

12. Third-Party Services

Our services rely on third-party providers including, but not limited to:

• Stripe
• Domain registrars
• Hosting providers
• Email providers

We are not responsible for outages or failures caused by these third-party services.

13. Intellectual Property

All WebsitesEngine branding, software, designs, and proprietary systems remain the property of WebsitesEngine unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers retain ownership of the content they provide.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be published on this page with an updated Effective Date.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
